RobotGalaxy is very similar to Build-a-Bear, only instead of a stuffed animal you put together a robot from the component parts (you choose a body core, arms, legs etc.) and then they program a power-pack (that makes the weapons fire) so it says it's name and who it belongs to. Crispy saw the place last time he went to the Palisades Mall, and he went home and bust open his piggy bank so he could come and do this today.

I should explain- Crispy and I left early to get back in time to open up the church (6:20), we had had freezing rain overnight and they hadn't salted the road yet. We were fine until we got to this hill, but then the truck just wouldn't make it up- we started sliding backwards in the pitch darkness and ended up hung up on a big rock on the side of the road- luckily in fact- otherwise we would have gone right off the road into the woods. The ranger came and had to lift the back of the truck off with his backhoe (above).
But then we found that the brake line was broken by one of the ropes we had tied onto the frame to try and pull it off and I had no brakes, so I had to drive real carefully the rest of the way to the public road so I could call AAA and wait for a tow truck to come and take me and the truck to the garage in Port Chester, where it now is. Hopefully it'll just be the brake line that needs fixing.
We won't forget our first Cub Scout Campout for a while!
