Last full day in Vermont

After a rainy start to the day, with a gentle smooch about Jamaica and then a trip to Manchester to check out the bookstore, the weather cleared and we stopped in at the Bondville Fair- we had not intended to but it drew us in :)

After a lovely lunch of various fair fare we headed home and Jackie dropped me and Holly at the Ball Mountain Dam so we could celebrate National Dog Day with a nice hike back- 3.3 miles in just over an hour :)

And while we were hiking the rest of them went for a lazy dip at the swimming hole in Jamaica State Park (Salmon Hole), which is where we ended our hike so I could join them and have a lovely dip to cool off.

Now we're back at the house, about to see if we can eat as much of what is in the fridge as we can so we don't have to pack it up tomorrow.

Oh, and here is Holly cooling of at marker #5 on the latter part of our hike this afternoon :)
